Fast Multi-Reference Frame Motion Search Algorithms Based on H.264
最新的视频编码标准H. 264/AVC采用了多参考帧运动估计来提高编码效率，但运动估计部分的复杂度大幅提高。在已有快速搜索算法的基础上提出了一种基于H. 264多参考帧特点的快速搜索算法，该算法对多参考帧搜索起始点进行了预测，搜索模式采用双六边形搜索，同时搜索过程中考虑了最佳参考帧的选择。实验结果证明，该算法在保证图像质量的前提下，具有减少搜索时间和运算复杂度的优点。
H.264/AVC uses multi-reference frames to enhance the coding efficiency, but the complexity of motion estimation will increase largely. The paper proposes a fast multi-reference frame motion search algorithms based on H.264. The proposed algorithms predict the initial search point of multi-reference frames and use the double hexagon searching mode, and considers the selection of the best reference frames. Results show that, the proposed algorithms can reduce searching time and complexity as well as maintain the image quality.
