网络带宽对IPTV视频质量影响的实验研究

IPTV needs to provide certain QoS guarantees, and QoS mechanisms need try the best to transmit digital TV in the network. Consumers want to watch the IPTV show with good quality, so the most important factor that IPTV providers need to be considered is users' quality of experience (QoE). This paper designed and implemented an experimental IPTV network transmission system. In the case of different access bandwidth, it used the MOS and MDI test methods to test the quality of the user's IPTV via the combination of subjective and objective. The analysis of experimental results shows the relationship between the objective of user QoE and QoS in different access bandwidth. If packet loss rate is 1/10000, we will feel the degradation of video quality. We cannot bear the video quality if packet loss rate is 1/100, and it needs at least 2Mbps bandwidth access to broadcast the MPEG-4 media stream.
