细菌视紫红质薄膜中红光的群速调控研究
Group-Velocity Control on Red Light Pulses in bR Film
利用相干布居数振荡效应,可以在细菌视紫红质(bR)薄膜或溶液中实现中心波长为568nm的光信号的群速调控。在本文中,我们在bR膜中实现了中心波长为632.8nm的正弦调制光信号的群速减慢,光群速可低至1mm/s的量级。此外,我们还系统研究了信号光的光强和调制频率对其群速度的影响。该工作证明了bR膜或者溶液具有在较宽的频谱范围内实现光群速调控的能力。
Based on coherent population oscillation effect, group-velocity control of light pulses, whose central wavelength was set to be 568 nm, could be realized in bacteriorhodopsin(bR) film and bR aqueous solution. In this paper, we achieved slow light in bR film with the sinusoidally modulated light pulses at the wavelength of 632.8 nm. The group velocity was decreased to the order of 1 mm/s. We also investigated the influences of the light intensity and modulation frequency on the group velocity systematically. The results show that the bR film or bR resolutions are able to control the group velocity of light pulses with a broad spectrum range.
