IMT-Advanced系统作为下一代移动通信系统,其数据业务速率有了进一步的提高。而将IEEE 802.16系统中的中继技术应用在IMT-Advanced系统中,成为新的研究课题。本文首先对IMT-Advanced的发展状况和频谱分配策略进行了简要描述,然后对中继技术进行了介绍和分类,并对中继技术应用到IMT-Advanced系统可能会带来的问题进行了分析。

s the next generation of mobile communication systems, IMT-Advanced System’s data service rate has been further improved. Relay technology of IEEE 802.16 using in IMT-Advanced System becomes a new study. This paper firstly describes the development and spectrum allocation strategy of IMT-Advanced in brief. Then the Relay technology is introduced and classified. In the paper, the issue that Relay technology applied in IMT-Advanced System is analyzed.
