本文首先阐述了MapXtremeJava的体系结构，深入研究了MapXtreme的三种架构模式之一――中等客户端模式的工作原理和通信机制，最后以一个实例介绍了架构基于中等客户端模式WebGIS系统的步骤，并给出部分系统代码。
he paper firstly introduced the architecture of MapXtremeJava, and then researched the principle and communication mechanism. At last, based on an actual running example, the steps of develop medium-client WebGIS and part of system code was given.
