核工程石墨断裂力学研究进展

高温气冷堆和熔盐堆作为第四代核电反应堆的主要候选堆型,均采用核石墨作为中子慢化剂和堆芯结构材料。在核反应堆运行过程中,核石墨作为主要的堆芯结构材料将承受常见的机械载荷、不同运行工况下的热应力、辐照变形以及地震作用等,使得石墨构件处于复杂的应力作用下,材料内部的微观损伤不断累积,在键、槽及不连续处的局部应力集中甚至会导致宏观裂纹的出现,从而影响整个堆芯结构的尺寸完整性,威胁反应堆的安全。因此,对核石墨材料损伤和断裂力学特性进行研究很有必要,可提高堆芯结构完整性评估的可信度。本研究首先从材料的失效准则、断裂准则、R阻力曲线、非线性断裂力学模型及多尺度分析方法几个方面介绍了核石墨断裂力学的研究进展; 接着归纳了确定核石墨断裂参数采用的标准试验方法,结合常用的试验方法回顾了目前的研究现状; 最后,从服役环境的影响、断裂过程区表征和尺寸效应3个方面对核石墨断裂力学研究的未来发展趋势进行了展望。本研究可为核石墨断裂力学模型的提出及完善提供参考,对获取核石墨断裂参数的试验方法选择提供依据,为核石墨断裂力学研究提供思路。

s main candidates for Gen- nuclear power reactors,both high temperature gas cooled reactors and molten salt reactors use nuclear graphite as a neutron moderator and core structural material.During the operation of nuclear reactors,nuclear graphite will withstand common mechanical loads,thermal stresses under different operating conditions,radiation deformation and seismic actions,resulting in complex stress effects on the graphite components.As micro-damage inside the material continues to accumulate,local stress concentration at keys,grooves,and other discontinuities can even induce macroscopic cracks,which will affect the dimensional integrity of the entire core structure and threaten the safety of the reactor.Therefore,it is necessary to study the damage and fracture mechanics characteristics of nuclear graphite,which can improve the reliability of safety assessment of core structure.This paper first introduces the research status of fracture mechanics of nuclear graphite from the following aspects:material failure criteria,fracture criteria,R-resistance curve,nonlinear fracture mechanics models,and multi-scale analysis methods.Then,the standard test methods used to determine the fracture parameters of nuclear graphite are summarized,and the research progress is reviewed in conjunction with commonly used test methods.Finally,the future development trend of fracture mechanics research on nuclear graphite is prospected from three aspects:the impact of service environments,characterization of fracture process zone,and size effects.This study can provide some reference for proposing or improving fracture mechanics models of nuclear graphite,a basis for selecting experimental methods to obtain fracture parameters of nuclear graphite,and provide ideas for the direction of research on fracture mechanics of nuclear graphite.
