System Design and Development of 3D GIS-based Geography Teaching Auxiliary System

当前基础地理教育的信息化逐渐走向深入,基于三维GIS的地理教学辅助系统因其突出的可视化、良好的交互性逐渐引起关注。本文探讨了基于Google Earth API开发的网络三维GIS地理教学辅助系统的建设目标、设计思路、技术框架以及主要功能的使用。通过教学实践,系统有助于学生通过三维GIS更好地理解地理基础知识,也提高了他们地理学习的积极性。由于三维GIS在地理教学当中的应用都还在探索当中,论文最后提出在三维建模、地理事件和过程的模拟以及叠加本地地理数据等方面有待于进一步扩展。

Nowdays,informatization of basic geographic education is gradually heading towards in-depth,3D GIS-based geography teaching auxiliary system is given rise to concern due to its outstanding visualization,good interactivity.This paper discusses construction goal、design idea、technical framework and the use of main functions of 3D WebGis geography teaching auxiliary system developed based on the Google Earth API.Practices show that this system not only help student better understand geography Knowledge through 3D GIS,but also improve their enthusiasm in geography.As the application of 3D GIS in geography teaching is in exploration, in the end,this paper proposes 3D modeling、simulation of geographical event process and overlaying local geographic data of the system is also to be explored.
