铋/铒共掺光纤(Bismuth/Erbium Co-Doped Fiber,BEDF)具有1000-1570nm的超宽带荧光,为实现超宽带光纤放大器及可调谐光纤激光器提供了非常有潜力的有源材料。虽然已经有各种关于BEDF荧光特性的研究报道,但是目前Bi相关荧光中心的贡献因子尚不清楚。本文实验研究了830/980nm激光器泵浦下,BEDF在可见光波段荧光特性的研究。当使用830nm激光器泵浦时,位于483nm附近的荧光峰是由于铋元素所导致的;546nm附近的荧光峰是由于铒元素所导致的。

Bismuth/Erbium Co-Doped Fiber with broadband emission covering 1000-1570nm provides very promising active materials for the study of broadband amplification and tunable fiber lasers.Although there are various experimental reports on BEDF, the contribution of Bi-related fluorescence centers is unclear. In this paper, the experiment about the fluorescence characteristics of BEDF in visible light band is studied under 830/980nm laser. When the 830nm laser is used, the fluorescence peak is near 483nm, it is accounting to bismuth ion; the fluorescence peak is near 546nm, it is accounting to erbium ion.
