"群机器人绘图系统"以移动式群机器人为执行主体,可对大型场地、建筑、以及人员无法涉足的场地进行快速超大幅自动绘图操作,具有分布式系统可靠灵活高效的特性,设备成本低廉,绘图模式开放、形式多样,且艺术效果独特,可绘制包括分形图案在内的复杂图形。系统工作原理是移动式群机器人在绘图基因的控制下,以一定模式,有组织地通过绘图表达进行群体协作绘图,其构图结果是每个机器人个体中的绘图基因选择性启动的宏观整体表达。作者设计了一些基础的绘图基因以及六种绘图变异,还设计了集群模式的群机器人绘图系统,可进行更高级的绘图表达,上述内容在文中均有所体现。文中给出大量系统的绘图结果,展现了系统的各种绘图效果与绘图过程,展现了作品特殊的艺术风格,也体现了系统具有的艺术价值。

he paper explained the theory of "Robot Swarm Drawing System (RSDS)" which was designed by the author. RSDS is a kind of distributed system made up of mobile robot swarm. It has potential of drawing super large pictures automatically and rapidly on vast fields and huge buildings, even these places are where human cannot reach. In RSDS, robots with simple structure can do complicated works by cooperation. They can draw many kinds of complex figures, even fractal patterns. The theory of RSDS is that, under the control of the "drawing genes", the mobile robot swarm conducts swarm-cooperation drawing organizationally through "drawing expression". The drawing composition of RSDS is an overall expression in the macroscopic level which comes from selective starting of the "drawing genes" in every robot in the microscopic level. The paper elaborates concepts of "drawing gene" and "drawing mutation". Besides, a special RSDS: "cluster-mode RSDS" was also expounded. Such system can make more advanced "drawing expression". Various pictures of RSDS and some drawing processes were displayed in the paper, and relative videos were also offered along with the paper. The artworks made by RSDS also showed special artistic style, and proved the aesthetic value of RSDS.
