Simulation of automatic QPM technique of four-wave-mixing in a silicon microring

相位匹配是影响四波混频中信号光到闲频光转换效率的关键因素,一种在硅基微环(silicon microring)中可以实现自动准相位匹配(automatic QPM)的技术既提高了转换效率又避免了对波导进行色散控制。通过Matlab软件仿真了由双光子吸收导致的自由载流子吸收(FCA)损耗对自动准相位匹配过程的影响,对设计简单、高效的基于四波混频的波长转换器件具有指导意义。

Phase match is the key factor to influence the efferency of signal-to-idler conversion in four-wave-mixing. One automatic QPM technique in a silicon microring has been brought up. It avoids managing the dispersion characteristics of waveguide as well improves the conversion efferency. The effects of FCA loss induced by TPA on the process of automatic QPM has been simulated by using Matlab software. It can be the guidance to design simple and high efferency wavelength convertor based on FWM.
