Mn对镁合金中杂质元素Si分布的影响及作用
Influence of Mn-addition on the distribution of silicon in magnesium alloys
本文采用气体保护法通过常规熔炼、静置保温制备了Mg-2.5%Mn合金。利用成分分析、微观组织观察、力学性能测试等方法研究了锰元素对铸造镁合金中杂质元素的分布影响和作用。研究发现,合金中的杂质元素硅与Mn元素形成密度较大的含Si、Mn相,在静置过程中沉淀降到铸锭底部。因此铸锭底部杂质硅含量很高,达到741ppm,上部杂质含量很少(130ppm),中部几乎为零;此外,发现Mn的添加也可以在一定程度上除杂质元素铁。试验结果表明利用静置保温工艺,Mn在镁合金中可以有效的去除杂质元素硅和铁。
In the present work, the Mg-2.5%Mn alloy was fabricated by gas protection method through melting at 750 ℃ and keeping setting time at setting temperature. The effect of manganese on the distribution of silicon in as-cast magnesium alloy has been investigated by analysis of composition, microstructure, mechanical behavior and so on. The results revealed that the phase contained Si and Mn was formed by the reaction between Mn and Mg and settled to the bottom of the ingot. Therefore, the concentration of silicon in the bottom and top was 741 ppm and 130 ppm respectively, while in the middle section was nearly 0. In addition, the impurity Fe also can be reduced by addition of Mn. The experimental indicated that the alloying element-Mn-can effectively removal the impurities-Si and Fe-in Mg alloys by the present method.
