有平衡接收机的DPSK系统仿真中的误码率精确计算
Accurate BER Estimate in Simulation of DPSK Transmission Systems with Balanced Receiver
摘要
本文对DPSK系统下光平衡接收机的噪声特性作了全面的研究,提出了基于Karhunen-Loève(KL)变换下的接收机模型,还包括主要传输损伤,以及误码率估计的数值计算方法。之后得到判决电流的统计规律,它与蒙特卡洛仿真精确吻合,所以此分析结果对误码率的准确估计是足够可靠的。经过耗时的蒙特卡洛法误码计算的验证后,本文采用提出的模型进行了背靠背仿真,并核实了DPSK对传统的OOK系统有3dB的优势。Abstract
A study of the noise characteristic in optical balanced receivers in differential phase shift keying systems is performed. The receiver model based on Karhunne-Loève transform.The statistics of the decision current is obtained which shows exact agreement with that of Monte-Carlo simulation. After validated by the time consuming Monte-Carlo error count, the proposed model is adopted in a back-to-back simulation and the 3dB advantage of DPSK over traditional on-off keing is clearly verified 关键词
