随着网络游戏日益流行,网络游戏的流量在网络中的分量越来越多,所以对网络游戏的流量特性分析就很有意义。本文首先介绍了网络游戏的基本常识,包括网络游戏的定义和分类、网络游戏用户群的现状等,然后介绍了网络游戏的主要分析方法,包括协议分析、流量分析和游戏名称的解析等,再以星际争霸为例,在实验室环境下用Ethereal抓包进行基于深度报文检测(DPI)的协议分析,并用winpcap编程实现流量分析和对游戏名称的解析,从而实现了对即时战略游戏(Real Time Strategy,简称RTS)的流量的网络游戏用户行为分析,最后根据实验结果总结出RTS游戏的流量特性,为网络游戏流量的识别与分析提供一种新的方法。

With the increasing popularity of online games, online games traffic in the network has more and more weight It is necessary and important to analyze Online Game traffic characterization. This paper first introduces the basic knowledge of Online Game, including its definition and classification, the present situation of the user group etc. Then it introduces the main methods of analysis of the Online Game, including protocol analysis, traffic analysis and resolution of the name of the game, and so on. Next, it takes the game called “StarCraft” for example, to analyze the traffic characterization and the protocol of Real Time Strategy (RTS) games by Ethereal with DPI-based packets capture, and with winpcap programming, it achieves the flow analysis and the resolve of the game\\\\\\\
