In order to discuss the smelting mechanism of industrial value chain, make clear its formative course, and deeply comprehend its three attributes, namely value chain attribute, supply chain attribute and industry chain attribute, starting from the theoretical developments of value chain and supply chain, the thesis probes into their coordination mechanism. Then, under the frame of the industry chain, it proposes the definition of the industrial value chain from its three attributes. On the base, the thesis constructs the optimal mathematical model of industrial value chain, which has strong guidance significance to solve practical problem in the management of industrial value chain.
