联苯型液晶环氧树脂固化剂的合成与性能研究

合成了两种含有不同长度柔性间隔基及联苯液晶单元的液晶环氧树脂固化剂4,4′-双-(4-胺基丁氧基)联苯(BABB)和4,4′- 双-(6-胺基己氧基)联苯(BAHB)。并用IR、1H NMR、DSC和POM对其结构和性能进行了表征,结果表明BABB和BAHB具有的近晶相液晶织构。DSC研究表明,E-51/BABB和E-51/BAHB体系的反应活性和表观活化能均高于普通环氧树脂E-51/DDM固化体系,并在固化反应过程中形成向列相液晶织构。

In this paper two liquid crystalline curing agents 4,4′-bis-(4-amine-butyloxy)-biphenyl (BABB) and 4,4′-bis-(6-amine-hexloxy)-biphenyl (BAHB) bearing different flexible spacer groups were synthesized. BABB and BAHB were characterized with IR, 1H NMR and POM, and the results showed both the two curing agents displayed smectic liquid crystalline phases. The curing behavoirs of E-51 cured with BABB, BAHB and DDM were studied by using DSC, and both the E-51/BABB and E-51/BAHB systems had been proven to show nematic droplet textures, while the E-51/DDM system showed an isotripic state; both BABB and BAHB exhibited higher chemical reactivity and active energies than DDM
