Implement of FBMC-OQAM System on GNU Radio Platform
目前第四代移动通信系统的核心技术--正交频分复用(OFDM)需要所有子载波满足正交性条件,而滤波器组多载波技术(FBMC)只需要相邻子信道间满足正交性。而且为了充分利用信道带宽,对子载波的调制必须满足相邻子载波的正交性,偏移正交调制(OQAM)刚好可以满足这个需求。滤波器组调制和偏移正交调制的结合--FBMC-OQAM系统可以达到最大传输速率,而且不像OFDM系统需要保护间隔和循环前缀,提高了时间资源利用率。GNU Radio是个免费的开源软件无线电开发工具。它提供信号处理模块来实现软件无线电并可以利用低价的外部RF硬件来创建软件定义无线电,或者不加入硬件用GNU Radio进行仿真。本文总结了在Linux系统下应用GNU Radio平台开发软件无线电的方法并实现了FBMC-OQAM系统的调制解调过程。
urrently the core tech of the 4th generation mobole communication system-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) requires orthogonality for all subcarriers, However, FBMC requires orthogonality only for the neighbouring sub-channels. And to fully exploit the given frequency bandwidth, modulation between neighbour orthogonality must be obtained. Thus, the offset quadrature amplitude modulation(OQAM)is used to satisfy this purpose. The combination of filter banks with OQAM modulation leads to the maximum bit rate, without needing a guard time or cyclic prefix as in OFDM. This improves the efficiency of time resource greatly. GNU Radio is a free and open-source development kit for SDR. It provides signal processing module to implement SDR. RF hardware which is not expensive can also be used to create SDR applications. GNU Radio itself can serve as a simulator like Matlab as well. This paper summarizes a solution which make fully use of GNU Radio platform to develop SDR in Linux operating system and implements the modulation and demodulation of FBMC-OQAM system.
