本文主要介绍了两方面，一是我国沿海浮游动植物的概况，包括渤海、黄海、东海以及南海的浮游动植物群落组成及其优势种；二是海洋浮游动植物之间的关系，着重介绍了赤潮藻类(red tide)和桡足类(Copepoda)之间的相互作用。并对我国海洋未来的研究方向提出了展望。
