在EPON中引入前向纠错(FEC)技术,能有效地增加PON的光分路数和信号的传输距离。由于应用在EPON系统中的FEC编码的特性决定了译码算法的复杂度较高,所以选择一种低时间复杂度与低空间复杂度的译码算法就成为一个值得研究的方向。本文对比了两种主流译码算法的复杂度,得出了一种适合用于FPGA实现的对于性能敏感、规模敏感的高效译码算法。
Introducing the FEC technique into EPON system, can contribute to a significant increment in both the splitter number of PON and the transmitting distance of signals. Since the characteristics of the FEC code used in the EPON system determine high complexity of the algorithm of coding, choosing a proper algorithm of coding, which is low in both time complexity and space complexity, appears to be a worthwhile researching direction. In this text, by contrasting the complexity of two mainstream algorithms, the authors eventually find an efficient algorithm of coding, which is suitable for being actualized by FPGA and sensitive to capability and scale.
