Significance and expression of VEGF and STAT3 in endometrial carcinoma by Using Tissue Chip Technique

目的:探讨信号传导与转录激活因子3(STAT3)及血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)的表达与子宫内膜癌临床病理特征之间的关系及其表达的相关性。方法:采用免疫组化的方法检测VEGF及STAT3在子宫内膜癌组织中的表达。结果:①在子宫内膜癌组织中VEGF、STAT3阳性率分别为70.2%、71.9%,与正常子宫内膜组比较,有显著差异(P<0.05)。②癌组织中VEGF的表达与病理分级、临床分期、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),STAT3的表达与病理分级、临床分期、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05)。③子宫内膜癌组织中VEGF与STAT3表达呈正相关(P<0.05)。结论:VEGF和STAT3在子宫内膜癌中过表达, STAT3与子宫内膜癌的病理分级、临床分期及淋巴结转移有关,STAT3可能通过上调VEGF的表达,促进子宫内膜癌组织中新生血管的形成,可能在子宫内膜癌的发生发展中起到重要作用。

Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of VEGF and STAT3 and the clinicopathological factors of endometrial cancer and studied the correlations between VEGF and STAT3.Methods: Immunohistochemical staining was used for VEGF and STAT3 detection in endometrial carcinoma.Results :①The positive rates of VEGF and STAT3 in endometrial carcinoma were 70.2%、71.9% respectively,positive rate were demonstrated significant different compared with normal endometrial tissue.② The expression of STAT3 and VEGF had relation with histological grade, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis in adenoendometrial carcinoma.The differences reached significant values(P<0.05). The two had no relation with age.③Positive correlation was found between the expression of STAT3 and VEGF(P<0.05)in endometrial carcinoma.Conclusion:STAT3 and VEGF are over-expressed in endometrial carcinoma.The expression of STAT3 had relation with histological grade, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis in endometrial carcinoma. VEGF might be up-regulated by STAT3 to result in tumor angiogenesis.Therefore,STAT3 may play an important role in the carcinogenesis and progression of endometrial carcinoma.
