近年来,由于互联网快速发展;存储设备价格不断下降;电子设备数量不断增多,人类活动所产生的数据呈现爆发式增长。数据的日益增多使得大数据技术快速发展。大数据计算主要有批量计算和流式计算两种形式。其中,强调实时性的流式计算的研究成果和实践经验目前相对较少。LinkedIn提出了一种分布式消息队列Kafka作为流式数据存储的解决方案,由于其具有高吞吐、低延迟的特点,获得了业界的广泛认可,并被主要应用于文本实时数据的存储。目前,业界关于将Kafka应用于视频流存储的方案和实践经验不足。因此,本文利用Kafka的优势,针对实时视频流的特点设计Kafka存储方案,并结合流媒体技术、视频编码技术,设计并实现了视频流采集系统,具有较好的性能和较高的实用价值。

In the recent years, the data generated by human activities are growing explosively because of the rapid development of the Internet and the decline in the price of storage devices and the increasing number of electronic devices. The increase in data leads to the rapid development of big data technology. Batch computing and stream computing are main forms of big data computing, and the research and practical experience on stream computing which emphasizes real-time are comparatively less. LinkedIn presents a distributed message queue named Kafka as a solution for stream data storage. Kafka has been widely recognized by the industry because of its high throughput and low latency and it is widely used in text stream data storage. Nowadays, our experience in applying Kafka to video stream data storage is insufficient in the industry. Therefore, this paper utilizes the advantages of Kafka. We design and implement a video stream collection system based on Kafka. In our method, we present a Kafka storage solution towards the features of video stream data and combines with streaming media technology and video encoding technology. The system has high efficiency and practicability.
