Mesh网络有利于提高网络容量、扩大网络覆盖范围,是未来无线网络发展中的重要技术手段。IEEE 802.16d标准也支持大范围多跳无线Mesh网络机制。本文介绍了IEEE802.16d标准的定义下的Mesh模式网络结构及其帧结构,与IEEE802.16j中所定义的移动多跳中继网络结构做了对比,并结合当前研究热点分析了IEEE802.16d Mesh网络中的调度、功率控制及路由三个关键机制,可为进一步做IEEE802.16d Mesh网络技术研究提供参考。

Mesh network is an important technical means in the future development of wireless networks, which is favorable for improving network capacity and expanding network coverage. And a wide range of multi-hop wireless Mesh network mechanisms is also supported by IEEE 802.16d standard. In this paper the Mesh model network structure and frame structure under the definition of the IEEE802.16d standard of are introduced and make a comparison with mobile multi-hop relay network structure in IEEE802.16j. Combined with the current important issue, three key mechanisms: scheduling, power control and routing in IEEE802.16d Mesh network are analyzed to provide some references for the future study of the IEEE802.16d Mesh networks technology.
