本文依据水是蒙脱土的膨胀剂原理,通过实验研究了水辅熔融法制备尼龙6/纳米蒙脱土母料的可行性,以及不同含量母料中蒙脱土的分散与剥离程度。在此基础上,通过母料制备尼龙6/蒙脱土纳米复合材料,并对其结晶行为、力学性能与热变形温度进行了表征。实验表明:通过水辅熔融法能够制备尼龙6/纳米蒙脱土母料,并通过母料制备纳米复合材料; 蒙脱土在母料与稀释样中都起到了异相成核作用,导致了尼龙6γ晶型的产生,促进了尼龙6树脂结晶温度的升高,加快了尼龙6树脂的结晶速率;采用15%与30%蒙脱土含量的母料与尼龙6分别按1:4与1:9的比例稀释,两种稀释样品与纯尼龙6相比,拉伸强度分别提高了约24%与11%,弹性模量分别提高了49.8%与22.9%,抗弯强度分别提高了近66.6%与26%,弯曲模量分别提高了85%与16.7%。热变形温度明显提高。

In this paper, we researched the feasibility of preparing Nylon6/Nano-montmorillonite(MMT) masterbatches by Water-Assisted Melt Compounding method based on the theory that water is the natural sweller of montmorillonite. We also studied the effect of MMT content on the intercalation /exfoliation of MMT. In this foundation, we prepared two composites by diluting the 15% MMT content masterbtch and 30% MMT content masterbatch with nylon6 in the proportion of one to four and one to nine and characterized its properties. The results showed that we have got the nylon6/MMT nano-masterbatch and the corresponding size of MMT in the diluted samples had reached a nanometer; Montmorillonite play the role of iso-phase nucleation in the PA6 matrix ,it increased crystallization temperature, reduced the crystallization activation energy and half crystallization time of pure PA6;In comparison with nylon6, The tensile-strength of two diluted samples had increased by 24% and 11%,the Elastic modulus had increased by 49.8% and22.9%,the bending strength of two diluted samples had increased by66.6and26% ,the Flexural modulus had increased by85% and16.7%.The heat deflection temperature also increased obviously.
