东北夏季极端温度事件与ENSO发展和衰减阶段的联系
Relationship between summer extreme temperature events in Northeast China and ENSO at developing and decaying stages
使用1961-2013年中国700多站逐日平均气温资料,NCEP/NCAR月平均再分析资料和Hadley中心海表温度资料,采用合成分析方法研究了东北夏季极端温度事件与ENSO发展和衰减阶段的联系。结果表明,ENSO事件的发展和衰减对东北夏季极端低、高温事件的影响具有不对称性,La Ni?a事件的影响更为明显。处在发展阶段的El Ni?o事件及衰减阶段的La Ni?a事件可引起东北夏季气温季节振幅增大,导致极端低、高温事件均出现多发;El Ni?o衰减阶段与La Ni?a发展阶段,极端低、高温事件异常则呈相反分布,La Ni?a发展年极端低温事件显著减少。北太平洋的海温异常及其引起的环流异常对东北夏季气温异常具有重要作用。
In this paper, the relationship between summer extreme temperature events anomaly in Northeast China and developing and decaying stages of ENSO events is studied, based on daily temperature data of 100 stations in Northeast China, monthly mean reanalysis data from NCEP/NCAR, and sea surface temperature data from Hadley Center. The results show that the impact of ENSO stages on extreme low and high temperature evens is asymetric. La Ni?a events show greater influence than El Ni?o. El Ni?o events at developing stage and La Ni?a at decaying stage both favor the occurance of extreme cold and hot events by means of increasing the seasonal variance in temperature. While extreme cold and hot events shows opposite anomaly during El Ni?o decaying and La Ni?a developing stages, with the latter favors significant decrease in extreme cold events. Sea surface temperature anomaly in north Pacific together with its induced anomalous circulation play an important role in temperature extreme events in North China.
