以青藏高原东北缘广泛分布的41种菊科植物种子为研究材料,用索式提取法测定了粗脂肪含量,蒽酮比色法测定了可溶性糖和淀粉含量,考马斯亮蓝G-250法测定了蛋白质含量。分析了菊科植物种子中主要营养成分含量与种子大小变异之间的关系,为进一步探讨高寒草甸植物在种子水平上的适应性研究提供理论依据。结果表明:种子大小与蛋白质、脂肪含量呈极显著的负相关关系,但与淀粉和可溶性糖无显著相关性。小种子中较高的的蛋白质和脂肪含量可以帮助其幼苗快速生长,为其提供充足的能量,这可能是小种子克服其产生较小幼苗竞争劣势的一种权衡。

In this study, the relationship between main reserve contents and seed size of Compositae plant on the northest Qinghai-Tibet plateau was analyzed, which could provide a theoretical basis for adaptability of alpine plants. The content of crude fats was determined by Soxhlet extraction with petroleum(60-90℃)as solvent for 8 hours; the content of soluble sugar and starch were determined by anthrone colorimetric method; protein values were obtained by Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250. The results showed that: the crude fat contents and protein were all decreased significantly with increasing seed size, but the contents of soluble sugar and starch had no significant correlations with seed size. Relative higher mass percentages of fat and protein in smaller seeds might be could provide enough energy for faster growth of seedlings, which might be a trade-off to overcome the disvantages of smaller seedlings produced by smaller seeds.
