本文证明将UTRA TDD(通用陆基无线时分双工)模式与时间切换阵列天线技术相结合,可进一步增大WCDMA系统容量。WCDMA系统进行空间编码会将引起频繁的空间切换问题。本文所提技术可避免这一问题。对阵列模式进行分析,证明分扇区UTRA TDD模式的WCDMA系统能有效抑制多址干扰。同时提出系统容量计算方法。仿真结果表明当系统信道被大量用户占用时,分扇区WCDMA系统仍能够获得较好的信干比(SINR)和误比特率(BER)。

his paper shows that the capacity of WCDMA system can be enlarged further, by combining UTRA(Universal Terrestrial Radio Access) TDD (Time Division Duplex) Mode with time-switching array antennas. If WCDMA systems adopt spatial coding, it will lead to frequent spatial handoff problem. The approach presented by the paper can avoid the problem. Analyzing the array pattern, we show that the interference of other sectors, also to be MAI, can be effectively suppressed by the array antennas for a sectored UTRA TDD of WCDMA system. The capacity calculating based on WLS multiuser detector in the WCDMA systems is presented. Simulations show that a sectored WCDMA system can be of better SINR and BER performance when the systems are of large number of users.
