近百年来全球主要干旱区的干旱化特征 及其大尺度背景的分析

本文利用英国 East Anglia 大学气候研究部的全球格点月降水及月平均温度资料,结合计算的地表湿润指数分析了20世纪近100年全球各主要干旱区的气候变化特征。在全球变暖的大背景下,近百年来干旱区增温达0.94℃/100a高于全球区域平均增温0.74℃/100a,北美大陆干旱区增温最大达1.22℃/100a,南美大陆干旱区增温最小为0.31℃/100a。全球各主要干旱区的降水量和地表湿润指数均呈现显著的年代际变化且变化趋势比较一致,但20世纪70年代后,南非干旱区、北美干旱区和中亚干旱区地表湿润指数的变化与降水量的变化趋势相反,主要原因是由于这些地区的显著增温造成的。近百年来,全球各主要干旱区的面积普遍增加,干旱区总面积已接近全球陆地面积的30%;其中,非洲大陆干旱区的面积最大达非洲大陆陆地面积的57.6%。此外,文中还尝试从海温和大气环流两个角度对形成这种干旱气候的大尺度背景进行了分析。
Some characteristics of climate changes in the Main Arid Regions of the globe over the Past 100 Years are gained by analyzing the grid temperature and precipitation data of the University of East Anglia in England. The increase of temperature is very remarkably during the past 100 years in the background of globe warming, and then the increase of temperature of arid regions of the globe is 0.94℃/100a, higher than the temperature of the globe. The increase of temperature of arid regions in North America is highest, reach 1.22℃/100a, and the increase of temperature of arid regions in South America is lowest, arrive at 0.31℃/100a。 On the scale of decade, the changes of precipitation are as same as the dry-wet index, but since the 70s in 20 Century the dry-wet index of the arid regions in South Africa, North America and the Central-East Asian are different from precipitation and all these are because of the remarkably increasing temperature in these areas. During the recent 100 years, the areas of globe arid regions are universal increasing and have reached 30% of the land areas, especially ,in Africa, the areas of arid regions reached 57.6%, is the biggest in all of the continents. These climate characteristics are explained by sea temperature and general circulation of atmosphere in this paper.
