Research On Visible Light Communication Technology Based on Mobile Phone Camera

随着智能手机的普及以及可见光通信技术的发展,利用智能手机摄像头作为可见光通信接收端用于可见光通信已成为国内外通信领域的研究热点之一。本文我们介绍了利用智能手机摄像头的可见光通信系统。首先,介绍了智能手机摄像头作为可见光通信系统接收机的基本原理;然后,介绍了系统实验,包括了实验系统的搭建、利用LED灯罩减弱光晕效应和信号解调。最后,测量了系统不同传输距离的BER性能,并对实验结果进行分析。在数据速率为2kbps条件下,可以实现传输距离为10cm的无误码传输。

With the popularity of smart phones and the development of visible light communication (VLC) technology, using smart phone camera as the receiver for visible light communication has become one of the hot research areas of communication at home and abroad. In this paper, we introduce the system of using smart phone camera for VLC. Firstly, the principle of using smart phones camera as the VLC receiver is introduced. Then, the system experiment is introduced, including setting up experimental system, reducing the blooming effect by LED lampshade and the signal demodulation. Finally, the BER performance of the system is measured at different transmission distances, and the experimental results are analyzed. At the data rata of 2kbps, the transmission distance of 10cm error-free transmission can be achieved.
