级联在校园网视频直播中的应用研究

Research and Application of Cascade in Live Video Broadcast System Based on Campus Network

为了保证能够顺利直播我校60周年校庆庆典,针对校园网的特点给出一种基于级联方法的视频直播传输模型,并在该模型的基础上对级联服务器的带宽分配,级联服务器的级联深度与延时的关系,当级联服务器出现故障时如何进行处理等方面进行了详细的阐述。文中在NS2模拟环境下对级联深度与延时的关系进行了仿真,经过分析得出在实际部署时应该注意的事项,最后通过我校60周年校庆直播的效果证明了级联方法可以有效的用在跨校区的校园网中。

In order to ensure our school a smooth live broadcast in the 60th anniversary celebration, after analyzing the characteristics of the campus network, this paper proposes a live video transmission model based on cascade, and with the model the paper gives a detailed description in the several following aspects: the bandwidth allocation of cascade sever, the relationship between the depth of cascade sever and delay, and how to deal with when the cascade have a failure and so on. Under the NS2 simulator environment, the relationship of cascade depth and the delay is simulated, from which we obtain the anticipated results and know what should pay attention to in the actual deployment. The result of live broadcast proves the cascade can be used in multiple campuses network effectively.
