二维柔性摆动水翼水动力性能的数值分析

Numerical analysis on hydrodynamic performance of a 2D flexible oscillating hydrofoil

本文以仿鱼类尾鳍推进为背景,应用计算流体力学软件FLUENT对二维柔性摆动水翼的水动力性能进行了数值计算。分析了柔性变形幅度、来流速度、柔性变形相位差对二维摆动水翼水动力性能的影响。计算得到的结果显示较大的柔性变形幅度会使尾涡脱落的时间延迟,增大尾涡的涡量,最终导致较大的脉动幅值;来流的增大会使柔性振动水翼的输入、输出功率同时减小;当柔性相位差为90度时,得到最大推进效率。

In this paper, in order to study bio-mimetic propulsion, hydrodynamic performance of a 2D flexible oscillating hydrofoil is analyzed by Computational Fluid Dynamics Software FLUENT. Effects of flexible amplitude, inflow velocity, and flexible phase angle are studied by numerical siulation. The computational results indicate that vortices shedding is delayed and vorticity is increased by larger flexible amplitude. Besides that, as inflow velocity goes up, both input power and output power decrease. Apart from those, the highest propulsion efficiency is gained at flexible phase angle equalling 90 degree.
