Research on Obtaining Broadband Microwave Frequency Comb based on Cascaded Frequency Modulator

提出了一种新型的基于激光器与频率调制器的级联结构获取宽带微波频率梳的方案。利用光通信设计软件Optisystem进行仿真分析,分别讨论了光功率、频偏量以及调制频率的改变对于生成信号的影响。数值仿真结果表明,合理的设置参数可以获得带宽为320 GHz、梳间距相等的10根谱线信号。

new type of cascading structure based on laser and frequency modulator is proposed to obtain a broadband microwave frequency comb.Simulation analysis was carried out using optisystem, an optical communication design software,the effects of changes in the optical power,the frequency offset, and the modulation frequency on the generated signal are discussed separately.The numerical simulation results show that it is reasonable settimg parameters can obtain a signal with ten spectral lines .The signal has a bandwidth of320 GHz andequal comb spacing.
