s surfactant can reduce surface tension of solvent, it plays more and more important role in pollution interface dynamics .this paper reviewed the application of surfactants in waste water disposal, contaminated soil remediation, non-aqueous phase liquids contamination control and heavy metal contamination remediation and the foreground were analyzed.
