基于IEEE 802.11e的公平性研究
RESEARCH ON FAIRNESS OF IEEE 802.11e
随着无线局域网在世界范围内的成功应用,改善无线局域网的各项性能指标成为了相关研究人员的研究重点,由于MAC协议对网络有较大的影响,为提高无线局域网的网络性能,必须改进和提高MAC协议的性能。IEEE 802.11e[1]协议是为了向多媒体业务提供不同优先级的区分服务,因此优化IEEE 802.11e协议的性能就成了提供服务质量保证的关键。公平性是衡量网络性能的一个重要参数,只有当网络中各节点都满足一定的公平性时,整个网络才会达到最优工作点。本文主要讨论了公平性这个重要参数,详细分析了引起不公平性的原因,并针对每个原因提出了相应的改进方案,并通过仿真验证了方案的可行性。
With the worldwide application of WLAN (short for Wireless Local Area Networks), improvement of performance parameters in WLAN has become the focus of relative researches. Additionally, due to the huge impaction of protocol of MAC layer on network, whose performance improvement shows necessity to the performance of WLAN. The purpose of IEEE 802.11e is to provide differentiate services of various kinds of priorities for multimedia services, thus performance of which become the key assurance of QoS. Fairness, as the primary parameter of performance measurement, if of each node there will be an optimization of network. Fairness is the significant discussion in this paper, after analysis of reasons of unfairness, perspective improved schemes have been proposed; meanwhile the simulation shows the feasibility of the scheme.
