RNAi and Anti-HBV Therapy
RNA干扰(RNA interference , RNAi )是由21~23个核苷酸组成的双链RNA(dsRNA)所引发的生物细胞内同源基因转录后沉默的现象,是生物体在进化过程中普遍存在的一种基因调控机制。利用RNAi技术的高效性和特异性抵御病毒感染及其它外源性核酸入侵的研究,已取得了很大进展,针对乙肝病毒感染这一全球性的健康问题,RNAi有着广泛的应用前景。
RNA interference (RNAi) is the process of sequence-specific gene silencing in biological cells, initiated by double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) that is homologous in sequence to the silenced gene.The mediators of RNAi are 21-23 nucleotide small dsRNAs. RNAi is the gene regulator mechanism during the process of biological evolution. By using RNAi technology which is highly efficient and specific,we have made great advantages of anti-virus infecting and exogenous-nucleotides invading . The applications of RNAi technology have widely foreground according to the present study on HBV infection, which is still a major global health problem.
