三层虚拟覆盖网方案的数据平面技术研究

随着当前网络规模与业务的日益扩大,为网络提供支撑和服务功能的数据中心面临更大的压力和挑战。网络虚拟化技术应用到数据中心将会缓解数据中心的面临的性能与规模瓶颈。为了扩大网络虚拟化技术的应用范围,IETF成立了三层虚拟覆盖网(Network Virtualization Over layer 3, NVO3)工作组,研究基于IP网络的基础上构建虚拟网络的问题。对此,华为公司在IETF的NVO3框架下,提出了ISIS-NVO3网络虚拟化方案,分析了控制平面的功能和要达到的目标。本文分析了NVO3的结构模型,根据ISIS-NVO3方案的控制平面的功能和要达到的目标提出了数据平面的实现机制,完善了整个方案,为方案的实现打下基础。

With the current scale and business network expanding, providing support and service functions of the data center is facing more pressure and challenge. The network virtualization technology applies to the data center will effectively relieve the current performance bottleneck of data center. In order to expand the scope of application of network virtualization technology, IETF builds NVO3 working group and researches the construction of virtual network based IP network. For that, Huawei company in NVO3 framework of IETF,proposes ISIS-NVO3 network virtualization solution and analysises the functions and goals of control plane.This paper analysises the structure model, proposes the realization mechanism of the data plane based on the functions and goals of control plane of ISIS-NVO3 network virtualization solution, perfects the whole solution and lays the foundation for the realization of the solution.
