Scenario Studies on the Salinity Intrusions in the Yangtze Estuary
长江口盐水入侵受到了多方面因素的影响:上游径流量变化、潮流、台风等因素影响,另外还考虑了海平面上升及工程性措施对盐水入侵的影响。论文共建立五十多个预案对盐水入侵的规律进行了研究,为长江口水资源开发提供了决策支持。
With rapid economic development and rapid population, Shanghai faces a serious water resources problem. The government is therefore exploring possible water resources for the future, in particular the Yangtze Estuary. This study is mainly interested the influence of saline water intrusion in the Yangtze estuary. Using MIKE 21 Flow Model FM, a two-dimension (2D) model was set up to calibrate and simulate the hydrodynamic characteristics and salinity distribution in the study area. In order to study the influence on salinity intrusion by upstream discharge, tide, sea level rising, bathymetry change, and typhoon, five group scenarios were conducted.
