oherty RF Power Amplifier Design and Implementation
功率放大器作为无线通信系统的重要组成部分,受到越来越多的关注。随着信号峰均比的提高,基站要求功放在保证线性指标的前提下提高功放效率,而Doherty功放是目前较易实现的功放结构。本文对Doherty功放的基本理论进行简要分析,并基于ADS软件,设计出了可以工作在2.35GHz中心频率,支持100带宽Mhz,功率回退6dB时效率大于40%的Doherty功放。
Power Amplifier,as the important components in modern wireless communication systems, are subject to more and more widespread concern.With the high signal PAR,require to improve the power amplifier’s efficiency,and meanwhile ensure the linearity,the Doherty amplifier is easier to achieve.In this paper, briefly analyze the basic principles of Doherty amplifier,and based on the transistor model and ADS software simulation platform,a Doherty power amplifier with 2.35GHz center frequency, 100MHz operating bandwidth,the drain effciency above 40% at 6dB back-off is completed.
