一种新型侧链聚酰亚胺的合成与性质研究

利用酰氯化,酯化,选择性水解,加氢还原等四种主要反应,合成了一种新型含有辛氧基的二胺OCDA,并利用FTIR和1HNMR对其结构进行了表征。利用OCDA与醚二胺ODA,醚二酐ODPA为基础,采用一步法合成了一系列辛氧基封端的侧链型聚酰亚胺。对不同侧链含量的PI考察了其特性粘数,聚集态结构,热性能和由这种侧链型PI制备的液晶盒的预倾角。结果发现,辛氧基封端侧链聚酰亚胺PI-OCDAx的特性粘数都比较低,只有0.3左右,且随着OCDA比例的增加而降低;制备的PI-OCDAx薄膜,在POM下观察,均有不同程度的结晶形貌出现,其中,PI-OCDA0.2~OCDA0.8均为粒状晶体,而PI-OCDA1.0则为针状片层晶体;PI-OCDA0.6的Tg为159℃,PI-OCDA1.0的Tg为174℃,PI-OCDA1.0 Tg提高主要是由于该PI为均聚产物结构规整;PI-OCDAx在50~700℃范围内为三阶失重,起始失重温度为230℃;利用PI-OCDAx制备的液晶盒,其预倾角,在摩擦前后差别很大,说明摩擦对预倾角的产生有很重要的影响。

novel diamine 4-[(4′-octyloxyphenoxy)carbonyl]phenyl-3′′,5′′-diaminobenzoate (OCDA) that contain octyloxy moiety was synthesized through esterifition, selective hydrolization of ester bonds, hydrogenation deoxidize,. The structure was confirmed by FTIR and 1HNMR. A series of polyimides with octyloxy moiety capped side-chains were synthesized from one-step-method. The properties of the PIs, such as the inherent viscosity, aggregation structures, thermal character, and the pretilt angles, were studied. All of the inherent viscosity of PI-OCDAx were only about 0.3, and decreased with increasing of the rate of OCDA in diamines. Crystal was found in all the PI-OCDAx films by POM, what’s more, it was grain crystal in PI-OCDA0.2~OCDA0.8, and needle piece crystal was found in PI-OCDA1.0. Tg of PI-OCDA0.6 and PI-OCDA1.0 were 159℃ and 174℃ corresponding. PI-OCDAx showed three-step weight loss in the range of 50-700℃, and the set up temperature is 230℃. The pretilt angles of Liquid crystal cell assemble with PI-OCDAx had obvious difference before and after rubbing, what illuminated rubbing was very importance for the generation of pretilt angle.
