基于局部相位信息的图像边缘检测方法研究

基于相位信息在图像结构中的重要作用,本文提出了一种基于局部相位信息的图像边缘检测算法。该算法首先利用双树复小波变换对图像进行多尺度多方向分解,然后对每个方向子带提取相位获得每个变换系数的相对相位,利用相对相位与边缘角度的线性关系提取子带边缘信息,接着通过双树复小波逆变换重构图像,最后使用双阈值方法对重构图像二值化得到最终的图像边缘强度图。仿真实验表明,与现有Canny算子相比,本文方法不但能够提取更加精确的图像边缘,而且还具有更好的噪声鲁棒性。
ue to the important role of phase information in image structure, this paper proposes an image edge detection algorithm which is based on local relative-phase information. Firstly, the dual- tree complex wavelet transform is utilized to decompose the image into multiscale and multi-directional subbands. Then, the phases of coefficients in each directional subband is calculated and the corresponding relative-phase information is further obtained. According to the linear relationship of relative-phase and edge angle, the edges in directional subbands are extracted. Finally, an inverse dual-tree complex wavelet transform is conducted to produce the edge image and the binary edge image is obtained via dual-threshold method. Experimental results shows that, comparing with Canny edge detector the proposed algorithm has better noise robustness and extracts more accurate edges.
