用户参与的高校图书馆知识产权信息服务能力建设

Purpose/significance] This paper discusses the construction of Intellectual Property Information Service (IPIS) of university libraries based on Participatory Design (PD) concept, in order to provide some references for university libraries to obtain multi-user resource and better develop IPIS ability. [Method/process] In view of the user’s multi-role community characteristics, the PD concept was introduced, various users such as government, industry alliances/industry associations, universities, enterprises and research institutes were used as creative designers and changers of IPIS, a framework for the construction of IPIS abilities was constructed, and the resources of all users were analyzed. [Result/conclusion] Taking the Shanghai Maritime University Library as an example, the users participation in providing resource support is an effective way to make up for the shortage of resources is proved, and which is contributed to the construction of university libraries’ IPIS abilities. And the expectation for the users to support the construction of IPIS abilities of university libraries is put forward in the end.
