Research on the QoS Admission Control Mechanism based on Bandwidth Broker in the DiffServ Network
在Internet技术和实时业务需求迅猛发展的现今,为满足业务对带宽、延迟和延迟抖动等服务质量方面的需求,引入的提供端到端QoS保证的相关技术成为了当前业界研究的热点。本文就是针对以上问题,提出了一种在DiffServ网络架构下基于分层的带宽代理(BB)结构实现分布式的QoS接纳控制机制的解决方案。本文首先介绍了DiffServ网络模型和接纳控制机制分类,然后给出了集中式和分布式分层BB 的功能结构,最后在分析了的消息处理流程的基础上,提出了四种基于此分层BB的接纳控制算法,并采用NS-2仿真软件对这些算法的接纳率,网络利用率和平均等待时间进行了比较验证。
Nowadays, as the Internet technology and real time services requirements rapidly increased, the related technologies that could supply an end to end QoS guarantee have become the research hotspot in current industry in order to meet with the QoS requirement of services on bandwidth, delay and delay jitter. In this paper, we focus on the problem and present a resolution to implement a distributed QoS admission control mechanism based on the construction of hierarchical Bandwidth Broker(BB) in the Differentiated Service(DiffServ) architecture. The paper is commenced with the introduction of DiffServ network model and the sort of admission control mechanism. Afterwards, the function structure of centralized BB and distributed hierarchical BB is put forward. Eventually, after analyzing the message process procedure, it comes up with four kinds of admission control algorithm based on the hierarchical BB analyzed and are compared and validated in the acceptance rate, network utilization and average waiting time using the NS-2 simulation.
