功率稳定激光光源在光读出式非制冷红外成像系统中的应用

光读出式红外焦平面阵列热成像技术,主要基于微悬臂梁在热辐射作用下发生形变的原理,然后以光学手段检测MEMS微悬臂梁阵列各单元的形变程度,从而得到整幅红外图像。由于这种检测方式具有可靠性和没有背景电热噪声优点,越来越收到重视。实际系统由于光源稳定性的限制,无法获得较高的探测灵敏度。本文通过采用电光调制器和光反馈方法,实现了具有高度稳定性的光功率输出,并将其用于光读出式红外焦平面阵列的探测光源,其输出光束功率稳定性均方根值小于0.1%.通过使用该技术,热成像探测系统的等效噪声温度达到约0.5 K.

new kind of IR imaging system based on MEMS microcantilever came out these years. The infrared radiation detection and subsequent reconstruction of an image are based on the deflection of individual microcantilever pixels. And this detection is applied in an optical way, which means there is no electrical contact to each individual pixel. It has drawn considerable attention due to their advantages regarding cost, weight, power consumption, reliability and no background electrothermal noise. However, the unstable light soure in the system seriously worsen its poerformance. In this paper, a beam stabilizer is made by electro-optical modulator and optical feed back method. The output beam stability reaches about 0.1% RMS value. And the stabilized laser is applied to the optical readout infrared imaging. The experiment shows that the output IR image is much more stable then before. The NETD of the whole system reaches below 0.5 K.
