西方蜜蜂基因组中学习记忆同源基因的分析

蜜蜂是研究学习记忆的经典的模式生物,尽管对于蜜蜂学习记忆的行为学方面已有很多研究,但是目前对于蜜蜂学习记忆的分子机理仍知之甚少。本研究以西方蜜蜂基因组序列为基础,用比较基因组学方法从基因组层面系统鉴定西方蜜蜂学习记忆相关基因,从西方蜜蜂基因组中鉴定出了76个学习记忆同源基因,这些基因涉及学习记忆调控途径中的诸多方面。通过同源性检索表明,在高等哺乳动物学习记忆调控途径中的绝大多数基因在西方蜜蜂中均存在同源体。这为进一步研究西方蜜蜂学习记忆的分子机理奠定了基础。
Honeybee is a classic model organism for learning and memory research. Although there have many behavioral studies about honeybee learning and memory, the molecular mechanism is still poorly understood. Through comparative genomic analysis, we identified 76 Apis mellifera homologues of learning and memory related genes. These genes are involved in many aspects of learning and memory processes. Homology searches showed that most of learning and memory related genes in mammals have homologues in honeybees. This study provide a foundation for studying molecular mechanisms of honeybee learning and memory in the further.
