Research on the change of Cenozoic stratigraphic classification
由于年代地层分类单元有许多不确定的因素及理论问题，国内外地层学界关于“新近系”和“古近系”等地层单位、系所包括的统和其上下届的年代值、以及是否存在第四系的问题一直存在不同的分类标准。本文主要介绍近年来国际地层学名称的使用概况，以便更好的研究和使用合适的地层学名词和地质年代表。
Because of uncertain factors and theoretical issues, there are many different classification criteria about the Neogene and Eogene, as well as the problem about the existence of the Quaternary. The objective of this paper is to introduce the use of the stratigraphic terminology in recent years.
