扩散张量成像作为唯一的可在活体显示脑白质纤维束的无创成像方法,利用组织内水分子扩散的各向异性特征进行成像。文章以扩散张量成像基本原理为出发点,对扩散张量成像的主要研究方向和数据分析方法进行总结,指出当前该领域存在的关键问题并进行讨论。
iffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is a kind of non-invasive method that makes use of the anisotrophy of water molecules in the tissue to explore the microstructure of the brain. It can reveal abnormalities in white matter fiber structure and provide outstanding maps of brain connectivity. The paper reviews the principle of DTI, the main research directions and data analysis methods. It also describes current research limitations and makes a further discussion.
