基于G4beamline的回旋加速器上束流传输管线束流损失计算

加速器的运行中,束流损失探测器可以实现对加速器内部束流的有效监控,从而可以防止人员误操作对真空元件造成损坏,保证运行的安全以及限制管线的放射线水平。监视器的性能在很大程度上依赖于其安装位置,因而在束流损失监测器安装之前,需要对整个束流管线上的束流损失进行仿真计算以获得最合适的安装位置。本论文通过G4beamline束流计算软件对加速器上的束流管线进行了束流损失计算,得到在该管线上的总体束流损失分布以及所产生的次级粒子分布,为该加速器上束流损失监测器的安装提供的准确的位置信息,获得了很好的效果。
Beam loss monitor is used for the monitoring of beam conditions inside the vaccum beam during operation of accelerators. It can prevent the potential damage to vacuum pipes caused by misaligned beam and ensure the operating safety and help to limit the radioactive levels outside the beam pipe. Its sensitivity is strongly reliable on the its position. Thus a pre-simulation is essential to get the best position for the installation of BLM. In this paper, we calculated the beam loss distribution of A1 beam line with the sofeware G4beamline. Besides the general beam loss distribution, we also get the distribution of secondary emission electrons as well as other secondary particles. The simulation result provide the exact position for installing the beam loss monitor. The beam loss monitor installed in this position has great monitoring performance in the following experiment.
