癫痫是大脑神经元突发性异常放电,导致短暂的大脑功能障碍的一种慢性疾病。中枢神经系统炎症是脑固有免疫的重要组成部分,炎症反应有助于神经组织的维持与修复。然而脑内的慢性炎症及其引发的血脑屏障的破坏常常引起神经毒性和神经元的过度兴奋。因此炎症与癫痫之间存在相互促进的关系,那么阻断脑内的异常炎症信号可能会为癫痫治疗提供新的方向。其中脑内炎性因子的变化是癫痫发生发展的重要变化之一。本文就癫痫与炎性反应的关系以及癫痫炎性反应中参与的一些主要炎性因子展开综述。

Epilepsy is a common,serious neurologic disorder characterized by recurring unprovoked seizures that result from abnormal firing of populations of neurons in the brain.As a crucial component of brain innate immunity, neuroinflammation initially contributes to neuronal tissue repair and maintenance. However, chronic inflammatory processes within the brain and associated blood-brain barrier (BBB) impairment often cause neurotoxicity and hyperexcitability.Mounting evidence points to a mutual facilitation between inflammation and epilepsy, suggesting that blocking the undesired inflammatory signaling within the brain might provide novel strategies to treat seizures and epilepsy. The change of inflammatory factors in the brain is one of the important changes in the occurrence and development of epilepsy. In this paper, we reviewed the relationship between epilepsy and inflammatory response, and some of the major inflammatory factors involved in the development of epilepsy.
