植物花发育B类基因研究进展

开花是植物由营养生长向生殖生长转变的重要过程,许多开花相关基因参与这一过程,APETALA3(AP3)/DEFICIENS(DEF)和PISTILLATA(PI)/GLOBOSA(GLO)为植物花器官发育B类基因,控制双子叶植物花瓣和雄蕊的发育,它们属于MADS-box 基因家族,编码转录因子,这些基因的突变能导致花瓣转变为萼片,雄蕊转变为心皮。现对B类基因的结构、功能、进化以及表达模式进行综述,并对该基因研究中存在的一些问题及今后的研究方向进行了讨论。

Flowering is an important process for plants to transfer from vegetative to reproductive development.APETALA3(AP3)/DEFICIENS(DEF) and PISTILLATA (PI)/GLOBOSA(GLO) genes encode MADS domain-containing transcription factors and are required to specify petal and stamen identities in the flower.Mutations in these genes exhibit similar phenotypes in which the second whorl petals are transformed into sepals and the third-whorl stamens are transformed into carpels.This paper reviews the recent research progresses in B class genes,including their structures,functions,evolution and expression pattern.Finally,we discuss the problems in the present study and the research hot points in future.
