raping shape is an important aspect of drape. The paper synthetizes previous people’s researches, introduces the proposed indicators, the corresponding evaluation system, the development of the drape simulation , and puts forword the focus of the study in drape in the future----from the textile applications point of view, through the study of the relations between fabric mechanical properties indications and drape, find out a relationship equation to predict fabric drape, in order to save manpower ,material resources and energy.
