本文简要介绍蚁群算法的原理、特点及其在诸多领域中的应用进展。蚁群算法现已在图像处理方面有广泛应用，主要应用于图像分割、边缘检测、图像分类、图像匹配、图像识别等等。本文就蚁群算法在图像处理各方面的应用进行了综述，最后探讨了蚁群算法在图像处理领域中的应用前景。
In the paper, we briefly introduce the ant colony algorithm(ACA) theory, characteristics and its development in various fields. Now ant colony algorithm has been widely applied in image processing such as image segmentation, edge detection, image classification, image registration and image recognition, etc. This paper reviews the applications of ACA in image processing. Finally, we discuss its future development in image processing.
