NS多信道协议仿真现状研究
he Research on NS Extensions for Multi-Channel Protocol Simulation
随着无线通信技术的发展,多信道协议的研究已经成为通信领域一大热点。网络协议仿真工具ns作为研究网络和协议的一个重要手段,虽然已经得到了广泛地应用,但目前并不支持对多信道协议的仿真,不过ns高度的可扩展性使得研究者可以自己修改源码扩充其功能。本文首先介绍了网络仿真工具ns的基本原理和自身特点,分析了其无线网络仿真的移动节点模型结构、重要组件功能及基本工作流程。然后重点论述了现有的ns多信道协议仿真扩展方法,从扩展意图、实现方式以及扩展后移动节点模型的结构等方面进行了分析,并总结了各自的优缺点和适用场景。最后本文结合多信道扩展现状和未来研究方向,提出了一种多信道扩展的改进方法,以使多信道仿真模型的适用范围更加广泛。
Multi-channel communication protocol has been a hot research area with the fast development of wireless communications. Although Network Simulator 2 (NS2) has been the dominate network simulation tool as an important way to research protocol, currently it does not provide native support for multi-channel simulation. However, researchers can modify and extend ns to serve the purpose because of its high extendibiliy. This paper first introduces the basic characteristics and structure of the Network Simulator (NS) and its MobileNode model for wireless network simulation, and analizes the informed researches on NS to simulate multi-channel protocol by indicating their design goal, implement way, structure of MobileNode model and suitable scenarios. Finally, an improvement proposal on these multi-channel extensions is proposed to apply ns to the future development of the multi-channel protocol and simulation.
